It’s not always easy to find out which movies are hitting theaters each week, especially as the Hollywood strikes led to many release date changes. With the WGA strike resolved and awards season heating up, there are more dramas and prestige productions in theaters for the next few months. October’s scary releases have transitioned into November’s spooky horror “Thanksgiving,” while November and December are also packed with family-friendly films and crowdpleasers for the holidays.

The Joaquin Phoenix-led historical epic “Napoleon” hits theaters this week, along with Disney’s newest family-friendly musical “Wish,” starring Ariana DeBose. Emerald Fennell’s sophomore film “Saltburn,” with Barry Keoghan, Jacob Elordi and Rosamund Pike, and Alexander Payne’s “The Holdovers,” starring Paul Giamatti, also have wide releases in time for Thanksgiving. Next week, get ready to sing along to “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.”

Check back each week to find the latest releases in theaters, from big-budget wide releases to niche independent titles.
